As we only have the one apartment to let, we would ask our prospective tenants to confirm their dates before booking as once the booking has been taken, we can't accept any further reservations for those dates.
I have taken the following from our terms and conditions:
- In the event that you need to cancel your booking before the start of your intended stay, we will make reasonable efforts to find a new tenant. If we are successful then we will refund all or part of the deposit (pro-rated to the number of days within your notice-period that we are able to re-let). We will deduct any expenses we incurred as part of receiving your deposit or refunding it (notably, the commission charged by Paypal).
- Once your stay has commenced, you will be expected to pay each week's rent in advance.
- If you decide to cut short your stay but give us enough notice (as indicated on the Prices page) then you will not be expected to pay for any additional weeks and will not lose your deposit.
- If you decide to cut short your stay but do not give us enough notice (as indicated on the Prices page) then we will make reasonable efforts to find a new tenant but if none is not found then you must pay up to the end of your notice period.
